28" tall?

Is that enough diameter so that you don't have to mess with the computer when you put your drag radials on? The shift points reley on both RPM and speed, so the tire diameter is important.

I thought the stock was 28.7 and the limit was pretty much +/- .5 inches?

Thanks

We decided on the Forgestar F14 wheels in 18x11 sizing, for a few reasons.

-They are lightweight
-They are inexpensive
-They fit the Camaro properly, even clearing the SS Brembo brakes
-They kinda matched his forged wheels

The tire he went with is the Nitto NT05-R Drag radial, size 315/40-18. His car is lowered on Pfadt coil-overs. With his Magnacharger under the hood, no doubt these drag radials will help him with traction issues.

Stay tuned, in a couple weeks we'll have the wheels in for member Dangeruss. He is going 18s front AND rear! Should look killer and all business.

Thanks for the photos Alan!

Tony
Do you know if a 17in f14 rim will fit up front on the 12' SS??

Anybody know the offset that will clear on these f14 for some 18x8.5 up front and 18x11 out back?

Crap, I just realized that the fronts are not the same type of wheel, but in the case of the rear wheels above, will they fit over the FRONT brembos?
I clear 17x5 front Weld RTS and 17x10 rear wheels on our brembos.
i did change the front brake pads removing those roller skates though.

the setup on this car looks killer! didn't mean to hijack this thread.
