One thing that I might add to this thread is that after the line-lock is installed and you're bleeding the brakes, don't forget to cycle the line-lock solenoid. If you wait until you get to the track to lock 'em for the first time, ya might be in for a big surprise when ya cross that 1320' marker.

Im doing this mod right now. What do you mean by cycle the line lock solenoid?

I also bought the v-12 reverse bleed kit. i seem to think reverse bleeding would be better.

There is a good chance that air will be trapped in the line-lock solenoid itself. The valve has to be closed to force the air out. The 1st time you engage the line-lock, that air will be pushed into the brake line.

So, you've got to engage the line-lock, i.e., hold the brakes and flip the switch, to get the air out of the solenoid and into the brake line so that it can be evacuated.
