It is a design that spans generations...and for this kid...it begins.

I didn't notice it until a few days later. I showed it to the dealer, and they offered to replace the dash, and I declined. Kudos to the warranty offer, i just didn't want a dealer tech taking my brand new car apart. Might end up with a rattle or who knows what.

I LOVE my car...I was around for the original Camaro, and wasn't able to afford one back then...Altho this is the third Camaro I've owned in my lifetime ('86, 2000, and this '11) and loved each of them, THIS is the one that truly makes me feel like I got the one I wanted back in '69...I epitomize that older couple that becomes young when they get in the Camaro and burn down the street...

Same story here. My first car was a used 1978 Chevette & I once had a 70 1/2 Camaro, but sold that in 1985 and wouldn't have been surprised if I had never owned an "American" car again since every other car I've owned has been Japanese or European. I am completely satisfied that I bought my Camaro and it has really made me take another at Chevys (I don't think I could buy a Ford or Chrysler).

I had such high expectations with my Camaro along with huge anticipation waiting for the convertible to come out. Thats a lot to live up to, but it has lived up to everything I hoped it would be. I consider this car an overwhelming success.

I don't work for GM and am just a car enthusiast, but isn't the answer to the question obvious? it is to me.

1) The running 12 month sales tally as it is updated every month is at just over 100,000 units.

2) Almost no incentives.

I would call the car a success, wouldn't you?

You never know with these guys. They said the Solstice was a success, brought out a new coupe and killed it a month later. Not the brightest bulbs in the bunch.

Solstice lost money from the start.

Kappa was a temporary shot in the arm to bring people into Pontiac/Saturn showrooms, that's all. It cost GM a metric crapload of money to build each one and they took a lost on every Kappa sold.

And killing Pontiac was the right thing to do. Pontiac has no place in the new GM.

"Success" indicates a past event....I'd say, without a doubt...the Camaro is Succeeding.
