Went with camaroscotty and it should be here very soon.

Don't get in with a pair of sunglasses on your head. (2SS)
Yup, had plenty of room but then again the seat wasn't all the way up either....

Good to know cause I always have my Oakley's on my head.. LOL!

I am well acquainted with the GM and GSM and most of the SM's at the dealer i bought mine from... they pulled some strings for me and i got the last allocation that they had, and the order was put in 10 minutes before the deadline for the 2010's Guess mine will be one of the last off the assembly line!!

Any idea's on pros/cons to going with 1SS over the 2SS. Thx
Love the smell of leather, but too hot here and I dont like the cracks as it ages.
The 1SS cloth seats are very nice and sturdy. I have 1SS/RS M6 / Sunroof.

1SS/RS is going to be a rare car. Most people ordered the 2SS.

Make sure u post pics when you get it!

Will definitely post pics asap. should be 6 weeks out roughly??

Remember don't use straight up leather conditioner on the factory leather...seeing as though it's the leather with a vinyl backing on it, it will separate and crack over time...

Never had a cracking issue with leather on properly conditioned seats... just my $.02

The "side to side" seats were only installed in the defective models they put out first. Those models were also fitted with ejection seats in place of airbags. After scrutiny from initial tests they decided to do away with the "side to side" seats and add the airbags back in place of the ejections seats mod so you must have just got one of the early defect models. Oh well. Hope you got a sun roof too... probably aught to keep that baby open always.

On the leather note...Adding limo tint helps ALOT and durability has never been a problem with GM's leather if you know how to maintain it. I will probably add aftermarket leather to solve that problem.

now the waiting beings....
What color? int?

1SS all the way....The only option I was bummed about not getting was the gauge pac and now that can be ordered separately, no need for the 2SS at all.

IMO - the leather seats in the Camaro are not the highest quality, cloth properly cared for, will look better in 3 years than leather - again just my 2 cents....doin't want to piss off too many 2SS owners

1ss is the way to go man. the leather is over rated, plus you can always add leather seats down the line if you want to.
i had the same dilemma when i ordered mine. I've had my 1ss for a week now and i'm extremely happy i stuck with the 1ss and saved the $$$$

I went 1SS, but I knew I was going with the Wet Okole Seat Covers, they work pretty good down here in the Heat and during the winter cool...

Have you put those seat covers in before yourself or do you have them installed?

To each of you that have perfect functioning cloth seats, congrats! I'm happy for you.

The one thing that bothers me about this site, and I'll share it with each of you, is when someone posts something that's wrong with their car, either to share the news with the forum or to receive constructive feedback, the majority of the time, you see posts like these, "never happened to me, geez, that seems impossible, I'm completely satisfied."

As many of you may not know, posts like those are very dismissive.

You could just as easily say, "that isn't my experience, I hope it works out for you."
"that isn't my experience, I hope it works out for you."

To the OP. 1SS Black interior, gauge pkg, and some other mods. Daily driver, great car, no worries here.
