SLP header install problem

Well I put my headers on today and had some problems, first the o2 sensor after the cat was cross threaded when put in at the factory so i will need to get another one before I drive it. If that wasn't bad enough SLP didn't send the correct adapter for my mufflers. I ordered the complete headers/exhaust system from SLP but the adapter fits my muffler to a 2 1/2 but my exhaust is 3" so I am SOL. I will be calling SLP in the morning.

I did not have a problem with my SLP header install. I had to eliminate a support bracket, that was all. I do have an install video posted

When I did my header install the threads were messed up on all four sensors.I used a thread file and fixed the threads. You might want to try it....

Well I was able to buy an O2 sensor with no problem today (51 bucks). I contacted SLP and they are trying to tell me my SLP loudmouth 2 should have come with the adapters for the 3" exhaust but they didn't. I went to a few local exhaust shops this morning but none of them can make stainless steel only aluminum adapters...... I called SLP again and they are checking on it for me and were supposed to call back in 10 minutes, well its been an hour and I am still waiting....

SLP is horrible. They need to stay with floormats and key fobs. Ive stayed away because I only ever heard horror stories and overpricing. For header I will definitely wait for Hooker to make some nice LT's.

I called SLP again and talked to someone who knows something and they admitted they shouldn't of sold me loudmouth 2 with the headers, they credited my credit card $200 for having to buy adapters, they offered sending me the more expensive catback (power flow) but they mentioned it might be quieter so i will just keep the loudmouth 2 and get adapters for the mufflers to fit the 3" exhaust. SLP was actually pretty good to deal with overall.

The Longtubes w/ powerflow x pipe and powerflow mufflers are not overly quiet. It all bolted together and did not require any adapters (its 3 inches end to end) if it was too quiet, I can remove the loudmoughs that are installed in the x pipe and just stich with the Powerflows.
I only wish I could add something to tune out the super low rumble (drone) at idle and just off idle.
