k&n intake
just installed k&n intake on my 2lt. thanks to all camaro 5 members who
posted in this subject. lots of valuable info. i am not an expierenced mechanic, so i was a little leary of the install, especially concerning the CEL coming on. i just took my time...maybe an hour to assemble all the new parts first. removed the existing air cleaner and took extra care with the MAF. actual install after i got going took only 25 minutes. did not disconnect battery. my camaro started right up. no CEL. i think its just wishful thinking that it sounds much different at start-up or idle. but getting out on the road and putting your foot down you can definitely feel the quicker pick-up and hear the rumble. i really don't care about any extra horses and so on....to me this was just another cosmetic upgrade that brings a bigger smile as i'm driving. k&n intake. $259 from member ecs motorsports. free shipping. fast delivery. |

just a little update after a 50 mile roar thru the countryside. don't want to argue about this or that brand....but anyone want to get a mod that
they can put on themselves and make a huge difference in the sound of their v-6...cai is they way to go. |

Congrads!! I got my K&N intake from ECS aswell, wasnt looking really for performance, but more for the sound. Im glad to say, im pretty happy with both from the K&N, really like it, and with my new exhaust, couldnt be better

Well I just finished installing my new K&N Aircharger CAI. All that I can say is WOW!!!!
. It was real easy to install and I love the look and the sound. Wasn't really looking for any performance gains, but it certainly feels like it has a quicker take off. This mod is much more than I has expected.
