correct tire pressure?

Hey everybody, new to this forum and just got my camaro ss2 Friday and am loving her!!

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am wondering correct tire pressure for these stock Pirelli's? I drove about ten minutes tonight, and it went from 32 on back and 34 on front tires to only 33 on one rear and 34 on the other, and to 36 on both front tires? Just curious if this seems low to someone who knows what it should be,thanks for your help!

The inflation pressure is printed on the side of the tire. And can be found in the owners manual as well.

According to the tires and the owners manual they should be set to 36 psi. However when you drive and the heat builds up in the tires the pressure will increase.

On the SS cars the max pressure on the Pireli's is 50 lbs. I am running mine at 40 to 41 cold which will give better tire longevity. They pick up about 2-3 psi after driving awhile. Also, if the sun is low it will heat up the two tires exposed directly to the suns heat by another pound or two. Great system.

Maximum inflation pressure is on the side of the tire; not what you want to inflate the tire to; use the Owner's manual; 36 PSI cold.

Just wanted to throw my 2cents in. I worked in a tire repair/sales shop for 2 years while in college. NEVER run the pressure stamped on the tire the number stamped on is "Max" pressure. Always look for vehicle specific numbers and in our case its 36psi cold like stated above.

The tire pressure on the sidewall is the MAX inflation pressure. Use the owners manual or the door placard on the inside door jam.

36 PSI!
