I am very aware of the real world numbers etc.

And yes I realize the 5.0 is faster. I already said that earlier

What do you mustang guys want from us?

Do I need to sell my camaro, get baptized and then go buy a new 5.0 for you guys to be happy?

My son just bought a new 2011 5.0 with 3:73 gears, brembos, etc. I have access to a rather large runway so we went and tried em out Saturday. He is bone stock and I have LT's,cam, muffler delete, and tuned (461rwhp 437rwtq) he was next to me through 1st and 2nd gear, and I started pulling him in 3rd. I had maybe three car lengths on him by 140! Those damn things are FAST! If I was stock he would have killed me! I drove it and its nice but bounces alot on rougher roads. When he starts modding it though.... Im gonna need a blower!

Add gears you will be fine. The 3.73 and his 19" rims gives him a torque advantage. WIth 3.73 we end up with a 15% RWT increase. I would expect the same for the mustang.

If you have your audio on you'll hear the announcer say the Camaro guys name and that the car has a LS3.

Not worth posting...anyone with half a brain when it comes to performance cars knows that SS had a horrible run.
