I know I had posted a video on here. I will look for it so you can hear what it sounds like but I can tell you it is not too choppy.
What did you dyno with the mast cam? What kinda track times did you have?
Might be interested in this...

question???
With the VVT3 Cam from TSP is there a paper that helps the tuner or is there a Disc???
They probably send an e-mail attachment with a EFI Live file or HPT file.

With stroker, heads, cam, headers, converter, CAI and tune it put down 463hp and 468tq. Best time was 12.0 @ 119.53 MPH. I am sure I could have hit the 11's will more runs.

I have driven a VVT-2 in a stock converter, and while it was ok to drive, it's best with a verter. I personally would go VVT-1 with stock verter, and step up to VVT-2 or 3 if your going to add a verter at some point.

OK, here is the video of the Mast Stage II VVT cam with custom headers and Magnaflow mufflers. The tips hit a little on the metal bezel.

Here is the same cam/engine setup but with ARH and whatever ARH uses for mufflers(I think they were Flowmaster).

This is with the new turbo cam and Magnaflow exhaust.

Here is a dyno comparing the old VVT cam vs the new non-VVT cam. Only two things changed were the cam and the heads. The new heads are LSA's with a bigger chamber to lower cr vs the old L92 heads. You can clearly see I lost a lot of low end tq getting rid of the VVT. The only reason for the change is to be able to run a lot of boost.

Same dyno just different days. Blue is VVT Red is after LS3 conversion.

Here are the results form a recent track event.

I would like to thank Phil from Tampa Tuning for all the help getting the auto tranny dialed in. He went above and beyond to try and help me even though I am not even a customer of his. He would respond to my e-mails almost instantly with updates and suggestions.

With his help I was able to get the tranny to not hang up in between shifts reducing my ET's. I was making more power before but the transmission was holding the car back.

Several shops sell them. GPI has a VVT2, as well as TSP and a few others. If you're serious about getting a cam, i'd HIGHLY suggest getting hold of the shop of your choice to talk about what your goals are. I know Ryan (Rhino79) can spec a cam specifically to your needs. His VVT cams are more like range cams. If you tell him your needs/goals, he'll know the size of the cam then spec it to your specific needs from there. They list 4 VVT cams but in reality, there are many different variations from those 4.

The VVT-2 is a TSP grind. Here's a dyno sheet from before & after on the chassis dyno.

Definitely call Rhino (GPI). The 2 is just a number assigned by the shop that's putting it out. The only correlation with another shops 2 is that there are smaller and bigger versions. GPI's SS2 VVT cam is consistently putting out 450ish WHEEL hp. He says that you don't absolutely have to have a converter with his SS2 VVT cam but it's recommended.

I'm thinking Ryan said he went 10.9x on his SS3 VVT cam. I think that was with stock heads as well. If it was, i'd imagine you could get in the 10's with his SS2 VVT with heads and all bolton's. wouldn't be easy though.
