I installed one as well over the weekend. Took less then an hour, and I soldered the connections. I like it, my wife on the other hand likes the feel of the stock shifter.

Last time I had my FAA physical, the hearing specialist said I had the best hearing she tested in a long time. This chirping fan noise drives me crazy, I just turn the radio louder.
