How did you wire your subs? I'm guessing your birth sheet showed around 1200W at 4 ohm, and 1700+ at 2 ohm? Aren't you worried about overpowering those 12's? Pushing 1000+ watts into a sub with 600W RMS is......risky.
The amp is a monoblock amp so I just wired them as such:

The birth sheet says 1196W RMS @ 4 ohm, but just remember, that's split between 2 600W RMS @ 4 ohm subs.

So the combo is right on the money for what I need.

Thanks. It still needs some tweeking and some touch up (and some vacuuming) but it's not quite finished.

Got ya! I was just concerned when I saw the 4 wires going into the 1500. Before my amp and sub arrived, I contacted RF and asked them if I could run my sub at 1 ohm with my T1000-1bdcp amp. They said I would be fine if I kept the gain low. After seeing my birth sheet (1522 @ 1ohm) I decided to play it safe and wire it 4ohm (868w on birth sheet). It has been plenty.

I plan on putting in the exact same component set and 6x9's in my car, though my plan is to use a T400-4. Let me know how the T600-4 works out and I may just run a T600-4 myself. Nice work bro!

The T600-4 is perfect for the setup I'm running. It gives me 100W RMS X 4 @ 4 ohms which is what the 6x9s and the components ask for RMS. So I'm keeping everything powered right at their RMS values.

The T400-4 would have you slightly under powered at the RMS level but I'm sure it would do the job.

When I was testing the RF 6x9s to the stock amp, there was not enough power at all to push them, and I believe the stock amp is 50W @ 2 ohms so I'm gonna guestimate approx 25W @ 4 ohms which wasn't moving the mosquitos either.

I have read several reports that many T400-4 birth sheets are showing 85W x 4 at 4 ohms, so I figured that would be close enough. I know it's no guarantee that the amp I buy would put out that 85W, but knowing how Rockford treats the Power series, it's probably not far off. That T600-4 is sweet though.... I have also toyed with the idea of running a second set of T1652-S in the rear instead of the 6X9's.

Well, I guess if my line of thought works out, they would do their speakers the same way as their amps. Their speakers can probably handle well above their RMS ratings.

Rock on man. Your system is killer.
