No hub rings as APEX said they were sized proper. My set for sure has movement on the hub. Maybe my set just has too much clearance. Either way it did have an impact on the issue.

It's not unheard of that it won't idle without a tune. I also agree, that a base tune should be loaded before trying to troubleshoot any issues.

Personally I wouldn't run it much without the base...
