Quarter mile times keep dropping as Camaro owners familiarize themselves with proper launching/driving of the 2010 Camaros, and as the modification lists get longer. OrangeChevyII nearly broke into the 11′s over the weekend with his 2010 Camaro SS, despite the unideal racing weather (2900ft DA 88 degrees and 60% humidity). He managed a best run of 12.02@112mph with a custom CAI, LG Motorsports 7/8 SuperPro Headers and a custom 3″ Magnaflow Exhaust. This Camaro has dynod at 427hp/426tq at the wheels.
The only other modifications to this car are smaller brakes and 16″ CCW in the front and 18″ Z06 rear wheels. Congrats on the run OrangeChevyII!
HERE is a video of the run along with dyno charts.
