72 Camaros attend Camaro5 and MTI Racing free trackday at Talladega

MTI Racing’s Talladega Grand Prix Raceway event was held this weekend for members of Camaro5 and the Camaro community at large. All in all, 72 Camaro were in attendance! The day started with approximately 47 Camaros meeting at the Oxford Exchange for some photo opportunities (pictured below) and to convoy to the event, which was a sight to behold.
At the event, each Camaro went through registration, which was followed by a short drivers’ meeting. Each car then had a chance to take passengers and kids out onto the track for some parade laps. After the parade laps, the Camaros went out onto the track in groups of five for some hot laps around the track — perhaps the most spirited driving many of the Camaro owners have yet to enjoy in their cars. The cars looked and sounded terrific. Lunch was then served and provided a great opportunity for members to get to know one another. All in all it was a great event, providing an opportunity for Camaro owners to track their cars, see other member’s uniquely modified cars, and to meet one another. — by ljustin293
