Since the new Camaro’s introduction last year, GM has not run any Camaro exclusive TV marketing (though it has shown up in print and internet ads). The Camaro has only been seen on TV as part of general GM commercials, featuring multiple cars in the Chevrolet lineup.
Many Camaro enthusiasts lament the lack of Camaro TV commercials, especially with the Mustang and Challenger ads which have been running on American TV. But, as fun as it would be to see the Camaro in its own TV commercials, the fact remains that the Camaro’s sales success has continued without such advertising.
Although GM USA does not run TV commercials, it appears that GM Mexico does. Check out THIS TV COMMERCIAL which airs on Mexican TV. It may not be the most factually accurate commercial (426hp automatic?!), but it’s still fun to watch!
