2nd Production 2011 Camaro Convertible Slot To Be Auctioned Today

Fairway Chevrolet in Las Vegas, together with GM, will offer the second production example of the upcoming 2011 Camaro Convertible at the Barrett-Jackson Auction today, Friday (Sept. 24) at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the YMCA of Southern Nevada. The first production copy of the car will be kept by GM for historical purposes.
The winning bidder will have his choice of color, engine, transmission, trim and options and can pick the delivery location – either their hometown dealer or at the GM Heritage Museum in Detroit.
The production Camaro convertible may make its public debut at the LA Auto Show in November.
