Hennessey 562HP Camaro package (HPE550) limited edition announced!

Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE), has announced plans to produce a limited edition 2010 HPE550 Camaro. The HPE550 will boast a supercharger strapped to its LS3 V8, pushing 6 PSI boost, along with a Corsal exhaust system and custom engine tuning. The result is a Camaro which lays down 562 bhp and 557 lb-ft torque. Of course there will also be eye candy upgrades available, such as lightweight wheels, rear lip spoiler, carbon fiber sideskirts, front splitter and Hennessey graphics.
Up to 500 units will be offered through select Chevy dealers for the 2010 Camaro model year. Production will begin in May, 2009 and orders are now being taken.
Hennessey also previously announced its plans to produce a 705HP Hennessey HPE700 Camaro.
