Chronicle of the Red Devil – a Lingenfeltered and Pedderized 2010 Camaro

Forum member 570hp-lpe has been the owner of 14 Corvettes since 1997, has raced a SCCA formula 2000 and was the recent owner of a 900hp 4th gen Camaro drag racer and 2005 Corvette daily driver. However, upon seeing and deciding upon the 2010 Camaro, an idea came to him to customize the Camaro so that it filled all roles — formula car, drag car, and daily driver. He would nickname the result the “Red Devil” and the route to achieving it would be through Lingenfelter and Pedders. Since then, the car received the 570hp Lingenfelter package and has dyno’d at 526rwhp / 491tq, as well as the Pedders Extreme Track II Suspension package. Other bolt-ons and mods include a Borla cat back exhaust, ADM boost gauge, and MTI shifter.
However, pure performance #’s and technical specs do not convey the excitement and full experience of receiving and driving this pumped up Camaro. For that, be sure to read 570hp-lpe’s Red Devil Journal, with his full reaction, writeup on build process, and photos to document the car’s journey so far (and all future updates). This car isn’t done being transformed though, so stay tuned to the journal!
