Jay Leno, the consummate car enthusiast, has just posted his review of the 2010 Chevy Camaro SS on “Jay Leno’s Garage.” Leno has his own on order but hasn’t yet received it, so GM lent him this model to test drive.
He believes that this car will help save General Motors and being a car guy himself, he understands that this car is about emotions emotions emotions! Now, onto the important part…. here’s what he has to say about the Camaro’s performance:
Jay mentions that the Camaro is more than 300 pounds lighter than the Challenger yet enjoys an independent rear suspension unlike the Mustang. It’s a nicely balanced package; a real high performance GT car. The Camaro feels very european (a compliment in that it feel as tight as an Audi/BMW) and he’s impressed by the worksmanship of the car, especially the increase in interior quality. He also lays down two nice strips of rubber for us in a burnout (not once, but twice 
). Overall, he seems thoroughly impressed by the car and says that for $30k, the SS can’t be beat!
