With the shuttering of the Pontiac brand, Trans Am fans hoping for a Trans Am version sharing a common mechanical platform with the 2010 Camaro had their hopes dashed. However, Trans Am Depot has now nearly completed its one-off “Phoenix T/A” Trans Am concept based off a 2010 Camaro. The concept version will be unveiled at the 2009 Trans Am Nationals in Dayton Ohio on August 28-30, 2009. This concept car is being used to preview the production conversion kits expected to be made availalbe to the public later this year.
