SMS Supercars, Steve Saleen’s company, officially unveiled the SMS620 Camaro at the Barrett-Jackson auction this week, where the first production unit was auctioned off. This particular model was a special Bondurant Edition, in honor of Steve Saleen’s former racing partner, Bob Bondurant. The $100,000 auction proceeds from the auction were donated to Cox Charities and the Make A Wish Foundation of Arizona.
The 620 Camaro features a full aero kit (front spoiler lip, sideskirts, rear diffuser, butterfly hood) and 20 inch wheels. The interior features custom leather work. As for power? The 6.2L V8 factory motor was supercharged to 620 horsepower and 570 pound-feet torque.
