Mysterious weights attached to members’ Camaro brembo brakes

Camaro5 members who have taken delivery of their camaros have reported that these wheel-weight resembling parts are attached to their brembo brake calipers. There has not yet been any official answer from GM as to the purpose of these pieces, but if you have any reasonable guesses, please feel free to share them with us in our discussions.
