THIS IMAGE from a book documenting the 5th gen Camaro (“CAMARO AN AMERICAN ICON“) reveals what appears to a 5th gen Camaro Z28 mockup model (or at least one of the proposed Camaro Z28 designs) being discussed by Sang Yup Lee and Tom peters.
The hood matches that of the new Bumblebee Camaro, which has been referenced as the Camaro Z28 hood. An extreme zoom on the emblem in the front grill also seems to reveal a “Z28″ badge. Overall, we sure do like what we see! The lower front fascia is not as radical as the 2nd generation Bumblebee Camaro’s, yet is adequately aggressive to distinguish it as the highest performance Camaro to come from the factory. There is also rally striping which we assume will run the full length of the car since it appears on the roof in this photo. To GM: please build it!
