Here’s an interesting design for a 2010 Camaro hardtop targa by CONVERTaTOP. The conversion likely involves a completely new roof and top to be installed in place of the factory top. What remains is a smaller rear window which is recessed and which appears to eliminate space for rear seating (?). A new glass panel will serve as the new targa top. To switch into targa mode, the entire glass top will slide back onto the C-pillars, exposing the entire top of the Camaro to the sky. Trunk use will be completely preserved.
It appears that for now these remain designs only (patent pending), but can be licensed for use by manufacturers / fabricators. We’re hoping someone tackles this project or something similar!
