2012 Camaro Z28 Hot Lapping the Nurburgring (now showing spoiler)

If you weren’t sure how serious GM is about making the 2012 Camaro Z28 with class leading performance, rest assured. The new Camaro Z28 prototype was spotted today testing at the famed Nurburgring test track in Germany. (Full photo set)
There is no camouflage bra up front as in the prototypes spotted on US soil, but there’s plenty of camouflage tape on the Z28. The air vents / inlets on either side of the bumper have been covered up, but its subtle shape can be seen underneath the tape. The upper and lower grilles looks as they have on previous spy photos, as well as the aggressive protruding lower bumper spoiler lip. The tape on the aggressive cowl contains holes to feed air or allow hot air to escape.
What is new on this Camaro Z28 prototype however, is the aggressive trunk spoiler. This is the first we have seen the Z28′s trunk spoiler design. It appears to be a nice blend of the regular ground effects trunk spoiler and the wrap around dovetail spoiler from GM.
