We all know that the 2010 Camaro is selling like hotcakes, but has the car proven profitable for GM? In this article, Bob Lutz shares that the Camaro is not only profitable, but is far more profitable than original forecasts! This is due in large part to a higher ratio of V8 models being sold compared to V6 models (80% to 20% of all sales), something which was not expected. This spells great news for all Camaro enthusiasts as high profitability guarantees that the Camaro revival will not be ending anytime soon. We should hopefully continue seeing special editions models and perhaps even a high end Z28 model to continue interest and demand for the 5th generation Camaro.
