A site member from Barstow, CA has reported that a Camaro Z28 commercial or footage has been shot in the Coyotae Dry Lake in Barstow! (also the location of some Transformers scenes). He was made aware of this when the film crew asked the few houses in the area not to stir up any dust because they would be filming a commercial for the “new Camaro” in the morning, a 600hp kind. This “new Camaro” was later confirmed by a member of the film crew to be the Camaro Z28.
This member wasn’t able to catch the Z28 being filmed, but says that whatever it was being filmed left some “gnarly tracks” in the dry lake bed. The film crew he spoke to said that the footage should air “this summer.” Exciting stuff (if the film crew is not pulling our chain)!
