What a day it’s been on the forums regarding this potential issue! As many of you have read, earlier today, a member of the forums reported a potential issue with the 2010 Camaro’s front fascia. It was reported that a camaro which Hennessey owns had developed stress cracks at the upper corners of its grills after (and due to) high speed testing (155 mph with strong headwinds).
Thankfully, this potential build/manufacturing issue has been explained away tonight. There has now been confirmation that the front fascia on this particular Camaro was a very early production piece, installed simply to have the car delivered to the tuning company earlier. GM has been aware of the issue and have already taken adequate steps to prevent this on other production Camaros.
