2011 2012 Camaro Z28 Sheds Some Camo – Shows Grille, Front Lip Spoiler, Cowl Shape

The 2011/2012 Camaro Z28 prototypes have lost some of its front end camouflage, exposing the grille, new lower front fascia (which now features a front lip spoiler which extends out very aggressively). The shape and size of the aggressive hood cowl (with scoops) can also be made out in the photos. To our eyes, it looks like there may be a scoop at the front of the cowl and 4 inlet scoops in the middle of the cowl. The silver hood pins could be there just for testing purposes.

A set of 20-inch wheels, wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 tires appear on the Z28 prototype and the brakes are those from the Cadillac CTS-V.
While the photos don’t show it, the photographer also noticed a few pieces of body-colored tape across the trunk lid on this prototype, which may be covering the fastener points for a rear spoiler.
It appears that this particular Camaro is similar to the Camaros spotted recently by one of our members in the San Diego area.
