One of only 10 manufactured, each car was individualized with one of Earnhardt?s greatest accomplishments; this one represents his “2001 Most Popular Driver” Award.

U.S. Army veterinarian Capt. Shawn Dunn made her homecoming back to the U.S. even happier by picking up her new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS. While stationed in Germany, she built her car online and placed the order with Les Stanford Chevrolet in Dearborn, Mich. When she arrived to pick up her new car, she was greeted by GM Vice President Rick Scheidt and presented with a special gift, saluting her for her long service to her country.

The 5th generation Camaro comes from the factory with attractive wide hips and shoulders, but for those who don’t think it’s enough and live in Dubai (yes, a limited demographic), Chrome & Carbon, an aftermarket company, has created its Camaro “Guyver” Widebody Kit.
Why is it dubbed the “Guyver”? The name takes after an older Japanese anime series featuring characters who are able to transform into robotic suit warriors.

The H-Town Club of Houston took home the Best Club display award at the Corvette Chevy Expo this weekend at the George Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. The club entered 24 cars and came home with many awards.
The judges were pretty excited to see the progress on the club’s cars and handed out many individual awards to club members. One of the awards went to Larry Dye “Best Engine”; with his twin turbo + direct port nitrous LSX 427. He also setup a killer display.

Rick Hendrick was in attendance at the recent celebration for the start of ZL1 production where he was interviewed about the 2012 Camaro ZL1 and his passion for the Camaro marquee as a whole. [Video Inside]
Not only did Rick Hendrick purchase Camaro ZL1 #1 off the line, he’ll also be taking home the #2 and #69 produced ZL1! How’s that for a Camaro obsession.
